Am I a sucky blogger or what?
Don't answer that.
Without further ado, here's my first-ever bloggy award:
"This award is given to the writers of blogs that “are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.”
In keeping with the spirit of this award and in no particular order, I pass the bloggy love on to:
- Eurolush - Adventures In Germany
- Eleanor - eleanor from the commentbox
- Heather - Confessions of a Coal Miner's Granddaughter
- Shannon - Welcome to The Nut House!
- Red Hamster - In The Wheel
- Wendy - Martha MacGyver
- Penny - Miss Night Owl
- Mrs. Coffee - The Coffee Lady
Thank you, Ree, for giving me my first bloggy award! If anyone chooses to bestow another upon me, I'll try not to let three months pass before I pass the bloggy love along.

All very, very worthy recipients. ;-)
And I'm sure I've gone that long...
Well aren't you sweet?!
Now I need to learn how to add that button to my blog and copy the text...
Good thing I'm spending the day with Poppy tomorrow. I can beg her for help.
Thank you Tuli; I am touched by your appreciation.
...and I'm out-of-my-home-state...without my computer...kind of out-of-touch with the blogosphere. So I'll try to live up to your award soon.
Ree is one of my favorite people EVER - as is heather of Coal Miner's Granddaughter. I'll have to check out these others.
Ladies and gentlemen.
Please forgive my tardiness in receiving this prestigious blog award.
The limo driver got lost on the way to Tuli's awards ceremony. Long story short, we ended up in an industrial parking lot somewhere on the outskirts of town, finishing off the contents of the wet bar. Neither of us remembered where we were going after that. So we called a cab. And ended up in an Irish pub across the street. (The cab fare was nominal.)
I'm so happy to be here to accept this award for being "exceedlingly charming." I can't tell you how many times I've been recognized for my "charming-ness"...hundreds?...thousands?
But I can tell you it never grows old. I guess that's part of what makes me so "charming."
As to whether I am "not interested in self-aggrandizement"...we'll leave that up to posterity.
In closing, I'd like to congratulate the other bloggers who have also been nominated for this award.
I don't doubt that they, too, are also "charming" in their own small ways. It's the "exceedlingly" part that has me troubled. Coffee Lady? "Exceedlingly charming?" I'm confused.
In closing, thank you, Tuli, for your good taste. I always knew you were a blog connoisseur. Only the best for you!
Ooooh! I love these kinds of posts because I always find great bloggers to read! Thanks for you list--I can't wait to check them out this week!
Ooh! Me? Wow.
I'd like to thank my agent...
There goes Eurolush, yet again, pushing past me in the aisle, racing up those stairs in her oh-so-revealing dress, grabbing the microphone and going way way way over the time-limit.
I'm surprised she didn't thank Tex and Frau Meuller too. So so sad.
Thank you dear Tuli!!!
All my love,
Eleanor from your commentbox xxxxx
