P.S. I Love You - a brief movie review

Recently, I borrowed PS I Love You from the library based solely on Hilary Swank's presence in the film. I'd not heard anything about it, nor do I remember seeing any previews for it when it was in the theater. (I haven't seen Million Dollar Baby, but I loved Hilary in Boys Don't Cry.)

As fellow Michigander Ree The Hotfessional says:

OH MAH HOLY HELL Y'ALL.

I started crying at the beginning of PSILY and didn't stop until it was over. Thank God S wasn't there for most of it. (He arrived towards the end of the film and teased me mercilessly about bawling like a baby.)

I just adored this film.

Every once in a while, when I'm in the mood for a total tearjerker, I pull out The Color Purple.

Now I've got a second choice. (AND a wee crush on Gerard Butler.)

Yes! I cried, too! The whole friggin' movie! But it was good. :)

I've been wanting to see this! I've watched Freedom Writers a few times recently and I can't wait to see her as Amelia Earhart. You should watch Million Dollar Baby when you have a chance.

I haven't seen it. I totally LOVED Million Dollar Baby!!
Of course, I would walk over broken glass to watch Clint Eastwood read the phonebook! ;-)
