See you
Did I do it too soon?
Are you happier where you are now?
Could I have nursed you along for another few months?
Are you somewhere chasing bunnies? Barking at the mailman?
No more needles, baby. No more bland diet. No more blindness. No more weak legs.
I miss you so much, Sculls.
Please come visit me in my dreams. Please.
This is my hardest day.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear friend. I know how hard it is. I had to put my darling Lucy down right before Christmas last year and I still wonder if I did the right thing, even though I KNOW I did. It's just hard to have to make that call. Sounds like you did the most humane and loving thing you could.
Here's a hug for you.
Oh, honey. I'm so sorry. I wish I could hug you right now. He'll visit you. When both of you are ready.
Oh no! I'm so sorry you have to deal with this...I've been through it and it SUCKS.
:( Thinking of you.
OH I am so so sorry!
Losing fur friends is the hardest loss of all!
((((HUGS))))
Oh no! I am so sorry.
Tuli--I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear dog.
I hope that one day soon you will feel as though you did the right thing. Choosing to end suffering is always the right thing.
Rest in peace, Sculls.
Oh, dear, thank you so much for the kind thoughts on my own loss at a time when you are feeling so much yourself. All my best wishes for you as we both try to come to terms with our sadness today. Hug your other furry with all your mite, it all goes by too fast.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
I'm so sorry about Scully!
