Thrifty Thursday: Vintage Vogue

Oh, people. Yummy vintage pattern finds this week!

Found these at a local antique market. Vogue Pattern 9770 is the dress. Vogue Pattern 6059 is the CUTE nightgown and robe.

Aren't these sketches adorable? These alone are worth the buck I paid for it. (No pictures of the back of the dress pattern because the sketches aren't all that.)

Here's hoping that if I ever get around to sewing these up the darned things fit!

I love the retro patterns! My grandma used to have a fabric store, and both she and my mom have been sewing forever, so they both had boxes and boxes and boxes of patterns. I'll have to find out what happened to them. They may have given grandma's away when my grandparents moved to mom's house. Although since they are both packrats, I'm sure there's a huge hoard of patterns somewhere!

Okay but you HAVE to make the bloomers that go with the nightie. YOU HAVE TO!
