CSA, Monday update of Friday's to-do list

So here is the first weeks take from CSA: green onions, radishes, broccoli, bok choy, arugula, leafy lettuce, spinach, and a dozen yummy brown eggs.

Not bad for this early in the season in Michigan.

As for my Friday to-do list I got all of it done except mowing the front yard - which will happen tonight. Productive weekend, yo.

Anyone know how in the heck one fixes bok choy? Recipes appreciated.

Yay, CSA! That IS a good haul for this early in the year, as far north as you are. I'm jealous of your radishes!

I would just chop up the bok choy and stir-fry it. It also works well in soups. Simmer it in chicken or veggie broth with some udon noodles and seasonings (ginger, garlic, sesame oil, etc.) and sprinkle some of those green onions (sliced) on top. YUM!

There......I think Badger covered how to use bok choy. I end up Googling things that I'm not sure how to use in cooking. Do we get a report on your going to see Prairie Home Companion?
